Recently, I purchased an Encore USB AudioVideo Grabber ENMVG USB 20 for use under Windows 7 with a four-year-old Foxconn Socket 939. I plugged the device into a serial port and installed the drivers and capture utility from the bundled disc, but Corel Video Studio X2 could not initialize the capture. After tinkering for hours, I gave up and deleted the drivers and utility software and the device from Device Manager. (I checked the "delete drivers" box.) I rebooted and Windows 7 "discovered" the tuner device and automatically installed a driver. Out of curiosity, I started Video Studio X2 and this time the video input (from a VHS VCR) showed, and I was able generate a capture file.
